PATNAS SACCO INTRODUCES MOBILE BANKING
 PLATFORM TO DRIVE MEMBERSHIP GROWTH

                                                        Delelegates of Patnas SACCO keenly following
                                                   proceedings during the Annual Delegates Meeting.

                                                   Mr. Kimeto further reported an increase in the SACCO’s membership from 18,000
                                                   in 2017 to 22,000 in 2018, representing a 20 percent increase. He thanked the
                                                   marketing department in all branches for working round the clock to bring in
                                                   new members and urged them to continue with the same spirit. “We as the board
                                                   are on a mission of recruiting more members in order to increase the SACCO’s
                                                   deposits. This will avail more funds for innovative products and improve the

                                                   the SACCO board and management have put in place strategies to ensure the
                                                   Society sustains its good performance and supports members in order to help
                                                   growth the economy.

                                                   The Chairman further reported that up to 90 percent of loans disbursed in 2018
                                                   were recovered. “We recommend that follow up be done immediately and when

                                                   The SACCO spent Kshs 3.8 million through Corporate Social Responsibility to
                                                   meet the needs of the people in the community in areas such as environment,
                                                   entrepreneurship and welfare. Further, the SACCO in collaboration with the
                                                   Cooperative Bank Foundation will also sponsor three students.
